My new ibook has just arrived and now it needs a name. Please leave suggestions in comments. Also I still need a name for my segway currently I am calling her ginger but it doesn't sit right. Any ideas are welcome.

Actually. I take naming my inanimate objects very seriously. ^^;;
One of my ex-computers was Nanashi (nicknamed Nana). I chose the even less creative Compy-chan II for the one I use now. I've had computers/game consoles/various electronic devices named Solaris ("Sol"), Muse, Xiah, Zero, Bing, and Hobbes. I can't decide whether to name my new laptop Vincent or Auramon.
I've never had to name a segway. But if I had one, I would name him Kame or Jin.
But yours is a she? Hm. I can see how Ginger would be awkward... I always liked the name "Etoile," but that might be too fancy. Simone (Sim), maybe? Pata? Can you narrow it down to names of a certain ethnicity?
